The narration for this book was perfection. Connor is one of my favorite narrators and he was perfect as Xander, Vanessa was incredible, the different voices she did for Chloe and Emma and the emotion and humor she put in to it. The way they both switched between the different family members and how they made it clear who was speaking was incredible, that is hard to do but they nailed it.

I don’t know which relationship I liked more in this book, Xander and Chloe, the whole Steele family or Xander and Emma because they were all equally great.
I loved the dynamic between the brothers in the first book but in this books it was even better. And that family group chat is hilarious.

But then there are Xander and Chloe, the fire between them could not be extinguished no matter how bad fire’Chief’ Xander wanted too. These two were unavoidable.
The slow burn between grumpy and quiet Xander and sparkly and chaotic Chloe was everything.
