Amazing journey
First, just wow. I am very inspired and in awe of this author and their travels. I wish that I had taken some time for myself before I jumped into adulthood and my responsibilities. Following the author through various continents and cities, I found myself being immersed in her travels, self-reflection, and personal growth. She does an amazing job with her storytelling so that you can feel that you are on this trip with her. Listening to the vivid descriptions of the scenery, the food, and all the cultural encounters had me very excited, and felt like I was with a friend.
I am still beyond amazed at the author's courage to step outside her comfort zone, leave behind everything that she knew, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. I have a daughter who is going to graduate high school this year and this is the type of journey I am encouraging her to take. Before buckling down to life, get out there and see what else is available. It's not just about traveling but also seeing other cultures, how they live, their values, their religion and just becoming more well-rounded instead of Westernized.
Beautiful book from this author and I would encourage you to go on this adventure with her.

Inspiring
I really enjoyed listening to The Inside out Journey and would recommend to just about everyone. It was a nice break from my usual listens and while I enjoyed hearing about the authors travels, what was really inspiring was seeing the growth she experienced along the way!

I want to travel to all of these places!!
Envision yourself with a year to travel the globe. I can't even begin to imagine. Kristina took us on that incredible, multi-continental journey with her immersive audiobook. Her accounts of these places are rich with details about their history, customs, and cuisine. I want to travel to all of these locations after hearing her talk about them. Her openness to the love, pain, and growth she felt on her travels made it even more interesting.

I enjoyed listening to her story
As I got further into the book, I started to enjoy it even more as Kristina unravelled more, the way she thinks, how she was brought up, experiences that she had etc. She really looked in on herself and was totally honest about her feelings of herself and of others. She was in constant learning mode and trying to grow and find herself all at the same time. That can be really hard to do as very conflicting. It was great to hear her trials and tribulations, some which came off, others did not. I very much enjoyed all her accounts of wine tasting, food and love life episodes. She peppered them with humour which fun. I enjoyed listening to Kristina, her journey, her fears, her growth, her bravery and am delighted that she has found her calling and authentic self. I very much enjoyed her narration also, she was definitely the best person for the job.
