Shane Dawson has always been an open book. From his first YouTube vlog back in 2008, to his feature film debut Not Cool, to a cover story in Variety magazine, Shane has documented his life pre-tty thoroughly. We've seen awkward and adorable Q&As with his mom, weight loss center drama, love life details, and the all-important haircut reveal. We've seen his hilarious spoofs of Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, and Sarah Palin. His music videos are awesome.

I loved it but...
I did really enjoy it and I read and listen to a LOT of books. This was just a little too slow at the beginning. Having read similar and I'd imagine a lot of of readers are the same, you know that something is going to be revealed but also know that there is so much in that build up as well. I just it didn't take what felt like 20+ chapters to get there. I don't know, maybe I am just impatient! 😁

Scissored together
Overall not a bad story and I will probably read the sequels, but I found the characters a bit shallow, and some of the elements of the story feel like they've been taken from other books. I didn't really feel the main romance either. The narrator has a very nice voice but completely lacks the ability to modify her tone to bring different characters to life, which sometimes made it difficult to follow who is talking.

Fascinating
If you could sum up The Immortals: Evermore in three words, what would they be?
Wonderful, Mysterious and,Breath taking
Who was your favorite character and why?
I like them all.
What about Katie Schorr’s performance did you like?
Katie Schorr has a pleasant voice to listen to, and articulate words well, which facilitates understanding, since English is not mei native language
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I don't know. I'm terrible for these things.

Nothing Original About It!
I’ve read this story a hundred times before, and the sad thing is, this book isn’t even particularly well written. Ever is the most annoying character ever! She is boring, brainless, melodramatic and self-hating. She couldn’t imagine how someone as gorgeous and mysterious as Damen could fall in love with someone like her, normal and plain. Even though she lived in a huge mansion and was described as “beautiful” many times throughout the book, she was still constantly moping around and feeling bad about herself. Sounds familiar huh? All in all, it was a waste of time.

Happily Ever After?
I have been listening to and reading a lot of books that are very similar to Evermore and though I did enjoy it I think that Alyson Noel probably made the story harder than it should have been. It also reminded me a little of Lauren Kate's Fallen Series though if I had to choose I would probably go Lauren over Alyson.
