Amazing reading!

Kids and I love this book so much. We read it so many times we know all lyrics! The voice here is so special. You feel you are in the story at the same time. Very good.

Performance was horrible

the whole performance was so high pitched and irritating. My two year old loves this story and even she wasn't a fan.

One of the all time great childrens books

I have been reading my children the Gruffalo since they were born, and this audio book has taken that to a whole new level. It is heir favorite book, one that they enjoy listening to again and again. And so do I. Masterful story telling for children of all ages.

Brilliant childrens title

This is a great title for the kids to listen to, the narration is outstanding and the Gruffalo song at the end makes it a good listen to/sing along for the kids in the car.

A beautiful witty story with a song at the end!

My child loves this book so when I found it on audible it was a no brainer... it’s very well narrated to keep a 2.5 entertained during a car ride ... love this book!

Review by my almost 7-year-old son.

I gave it 5 stars because I liked it very much and I hope you'll like it too. It has a lot of repeating words, but the characters are silly and fun. I am going to listen to it again, because it is so funny.

A wonderful bedtime story

the story follows a little mouse as he makes his way through the deep dark wood only to find his imaginary creature is really alive.

the unabridged version however does have some different words to the book. however they are quite minor and do not take away from the book

Superb

Excellent story and brilliant narrating. My 4 yr grandson and I listen to this book repeatedly every time we’re in the car. My grandson recites along with sheer delight.
