Warning for scenes of torture. Not graphic but potentially disturbing. This is the second book that I’ve read in this series (I didn’t read the first one). It is another first person perspective told as a stream of consciousness. This time, though there isn’t a cliff hanger, so I found it much more satisfying. I found found it much less confusing than the prior book, not sure it stands alone though. Narrator did a great job with pace and tone. I received this audiobook for free in exchange for a review.

This short trilogy came from the excellent imagination of the author Gretchen Rix which was full of mysteries, actions, twists and much unknowns which just made me unable to put down for breaks.
In conclusion,
Loved it very much !

Alexandra Haag narration is excellently done for each of the characters in this book.

My recommendations !!!
