I really enjoyed the male voice actors performance. Miles was a swoon worthy mmc and Jason really brought him to life. the story was enjoyable overall but Leighton annoyed me with her reasons for not telling her dad the truth.

I love these two narrators, the story, the thought that had gone into it, the love story and hockey story. All absolutely brilliant characters. I did not want to put it down!!!

This book was amazing! I listened to the audiobook, and the narrators did such a good job making me feel everything they were feeling, the good and the bad. Their struggle felt so real and understandable, and I loved how both Leighton and Miles were handling everything. Such great characters! It was also fun to have their friends from the previous books popping in here and there without taking over the story, and I’m so curious about Tyler!

I absolutely loved the representation of someone dealing with hearing loss, so well done!

Loved loved loved Miles and Leighton’s story. Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor made them so much justice. Miles is thoughtful and passionate, Leighton is decisive and honest and both deserved their HEA. Their journey wasn’t easy but oh so worth it.

When the hockey star hooks up with the coach’s daughter you know it’s not going to end well. Or is it? That is the question. To be fair when they spent that perfect day (and that sizzling night) together neither knew who the other was, so it was somewhat of a surprise to find out the life that they both envisaged together could never be. Where there’s a super cute meddling grandmother there’s a way though. Friendship - could that work? They could try. And try they did. The force is strong with Leighton and Miles though, they need to not get distracted with those pesky urges. I had so much fun watching them resist their feelings, they were such wonderful, sweet characters, and that’s why they had issues being deceitful, it wasn’t in their nature.
With the help of a super cute meddling grandmother there’s a way I’m sure. A sweet, highly entertaining, at times emotional, and often extremely sexy hockey romance. With a hearing challenged, strong willed and independent heroine who can’t help but fall for the polite tatted hockey star. A proper good old fashioned romance that I listened to in audio, enjoying every minute of the duet narration performed perfectly by two of my favourites - Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor. A lovely story to get lost in. I received a complementary copy of this audit book. This is my honest review.
