About this listen

Book five of The Realms continues the epic LitRPG adventure that started with Barrow King.

“We could end this war before it begins.”

Gryph thought freeing his sister Brynn from the shackles of the High God would be the end of his mission.

Only to learn it was just the beginning.

Tasked with building an army for the Resistance, Gryph quickly realizes it will never be enough to curb the High God’s despotic quest to control the Realms.

Victory seems hopeless.

But then a long-buried secret resurfaces, and a desperate plan is hatched.

The survival of the Realms is in Gryph’s hands. If he fails, billions of souls will suffer a fate worse than death.

Can Gryph uncover the mysteries of his past in time to save the Realms, or will his actions hand victory to the High God?

The Forsaken God continues the number one best-selling epic LitRPG saga that began in Barrow King. The Realms will never be the same.

Such a fantastic continuation of the series and it left me wanting more. I’ll definitely be picking up the next one and probably many other works by the author!

The fate of this universe literally rests on the outcome of the actions of Griff and his team.

If I could describe this one, it's a whole a big dollop of Ready Player One, a pinch of Sword Art Online.

If you watch Anime, then this book is for you, similarity between this and of the Sword Art Online is very close with Griffs Drive to protect his friends and the world at large from a the greatest threat he could of ever feared.

The Twists and turn throughout the book will keep you on edge and will keep you listening well untill the early hours of the morning.
The Endig ro this book will have to Screaming and thrusting for more.

Overall I would say this newest edition to the saga was well worth the wait and cannot wait for the 6th.
As Always A Loyal Fan CM Carney, Look forward to the rest.

it's just not what I was looking for...

however, Armen really needs to consider getting a female Narrator and do duets because while his male voices are great, his females also sounds male which is a problem

nothing wrong with the book NF

I love this series so much, I've lost count of how many times I've listened to it. Armen Taylor brings life to each and every character, and C.M. Carney is such a brilliant writer that he incorporates humor, adventure and loss seamlessly.

Excellent narration and brilliantly written
