Summary

Shadowvale isn’t your typical small town America. The sun never shines, the gates decide who enters, magic abounds, and every resident bears some kind of curse.

Werewolf Virginia "Ginny" French's curse means no one can remember her. Not even for as long as it takes to ring up her groceries or make her favorite iced coffee. And being that forgettable has turned her life into an incredibly lonely existence. So much so, she's thinking about doing something really wild just to entertain herself.

Werewolf Ezekiel "Easy" Grayle loved his life until he got struck by lightning and lost control of his shifting abilities. It’s led to some uncomfortable situations - and the decision to move to a town where the unpredictable is acceptable.

He didn’t realize just how acceptable until he catches his hot but maybe-crazy neighbor sneaking out of his pool in a barely-there bikini. He’s too busy unpacking to pursue her, but when she comes knocking, all bets are off.

Can a forgettable woman ever find love or is her curse too much for even the most determined man to overcome?

Not to be forgotten

This book gave me all the feels when I read it. Listening to it though bought all those feelings back and compounded them. The narrator does and amazing job of absolutely bringing all those feelings alive even more. What Ginny and Easy go through together is equal amounts exciting and tear worthy. Absolutely loved it.

Original curse , bad writer, outdated

The curse of being unforgettable was original. The story was very clean. The idea that a woman would put ignore her job to help a strange man meet his job deadline by unpacking an entire house is outdated. The complete description of every outfit was a weird and distracting.

Fantastic!

The Forgettable Ms French is fantastic! I absolutely love the story progression and bald my eyes out of couple times, laughing my butt off, as well as some "awwww" moments. Great read!

Unforgettable!

The Forgettable Miss French is the 3rd in Kristen Painter's Shadowvale series, and each book seems to be better than the last.
Ginny French is cursed. Like many people in Shadowvale, she has a curse to deal with, but this one is one of the worst. She's doomed to be forgotten as soon as anyone steps away from her. Imagine being the new girl in town.... for 10 years!
Werewolf Easy Grayle has problems of his own, he's a shifter who's abilities are "broken". He was struck by lightning and now he can't shift to his wolf, although he can do a few cute pups :-) The one perk of his problem is that he can remember Ginny!
Together the two of them need to put their heads together and figure out a way to solve both their problems. Falling in love is the easy part, can they remember it?

😑

The story was slow and flat. Ginny and EZ getting to know each other and removing their curses. No/ little interactions with the townspeople. Even her interaction with the sea monster is a ittle borihg.Over and over told she's dealt with this curse for 10 years. I couldn't wait to get this series installment , but I was disappointed.

Great new series

This book was better than i expected, having grown attached to Nocturne Falls books. The characters were great. The story line was unique. I'll continue with this interesting series.

Loved this story!

Couldn't stop listening to this book! I was happy, giddy, excited, sad, crying, elated, and laughing out loud. A very fun story that does tug on the heart strings a bit.

The Forgettable Miss French by Kristen Painter

The Forgettable Miss French by Kristen Painter

3rd in the Shadowvale series. Paranormal romance. A town that hides itself to protect its paranormal residents. The gate decides if it will open for you. If you can find it.

I didn’t want to put it down to sleep.
The heroine: A curse that makes everyone forget you as soon as you are out of sight. A lonely existence through no fault of your own. I think it would be very difficult not to be depressed all the time.
The hero: a werewolf that was hit by lightening and not able to control his wolf form. He’s a famous writer. He moves to Shadowvale to hide and hopefully figure how to get rid of his curse.

Maybe the Cursed together can join forces.

werewolf problems Excerpt:
“Problem was he never knew if he was going to end up a wolf or not. Crazy. He’d never realized he was such a mutt until the lightning strike.

Now it was anybody’s guess what he was going to turn into because, apparently, he was cycling through every random bloodline ever introduced into his gene pool. So far, he’d seen himself become a pack’s worth of different wolves, a fox, a coyote, a Siberian husky, and, most curious of all, a beagle.

Whichever one of his relatives was responsible for that indiscretion, they had a lot of explaining to do.
A lot.
It was embarrassing.”
Excerpt From The Forgettable Miss French by Kristen Painter

I subsequently listened to the audible version narrated by B J Harrison. The performance was entertaining. He did a great job on the story and I especially enjoyed his "southern accent" that occasionally came out from a server or secondary character.

Another wonderfull book in this series! This one is the third in the series and is about Ginny a werewolf who is cursed with people forgetting her. Ezekiel Gray moves to shadowvale after he is hit by lightning and losses control over his wolf part. He moves next door to Ginny and all bets are off!! Fun sad and crazy all in one book. Can love conquer all? you'll have to listen to find out!! B.J. Harrison did a really good job narrating this book made it clear and fun to listen to. looking forward to more of this series.
