Another intriguing legal story featuring the defence lawyer, Mickey Haller, this time defending people who face having their homes repossessed because of the economic downturn and some shady dealings in corporate finance, so very topical. What I really enjoy in the court battles is the author's way of describing why the legal representatives on both sides act the way they do, their motives and the thinking behind their various moves. By the end of this story we pick up hints that Mickey is about to take a big step in both his legal and personal life. Roll on the next book in this series!
