I loved BL's twist of the mafia world. I was hooked from the very beginning. There is so much mystery with this series that it kept me guessing. I really enjoyed the push and pull between Charlie and Teddy!
The book does end on a great cliffhanger that will leave you begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series The Vengeful Queen to be released on audio.
I originally read this book when it was first released and was so excited when it was announced it would be coming to audio. I definitely had to get my hands on copy. Alan and Phillipa did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this book if you're looking for a mafia romance, romantic suspense or contemporary romance.
