I would recommend a listen, it’s one of the better stories I’ve heard for sometime, story line clear and easy to follow.

Alot of fast pace mystery and intrigue, mixed with suspense, emotion and compassion. A superb audio perfectly narrated.

This may or may not be a good story but it is too overwritten to continue listening. The opening chapter, Allie's backstory is way over the top, with so much 'tightening' of the chest, 'pounding' of the heart etc that it really came over as melodrama and slowed the pace right down. The dialogue is often used as an info dump and the introduction of the perpetrator in the first person is truly dreadful. No one thinks like this! I'd also recommend the author reads On Writing by Stephen King, to find out how to build a picture - and tension - without hanging an adjective onto every noun and an adverb on every verb. It weighs the narrative down and slows the pace. I'm sorry but I'm leaving it at the end of chapter 8.
