Excellent book. Informative, well-paced, detailed-yet-accessible. Nice to have an author-narrated version, now. Very highly recommended.

I saw the movie long time agi but thought it was a good time to revisit this book amid frothy markets in 2025. Swallowed it up in a couple of days. Interesting, entertaining and relevant.

Michael Lewis is his finest

As someone who has never read a book about economics, the stock market or Wall Street I did wonder how I would get on with this. I have however watched the film a couple of times and I also am listening to the companion podcast, so I think that has helped.

I find Michael Lewis' writing flows really well, his expression of ideas and the humor he includes makes the whole very enjoyable.

I will probably listen to this again at some point, hopefully when my understanding of the subject has been improved so I can appreciate it even more.
