Amazing how nature knows to work together
I am always so amazed that we are learning more and more about how nature already knows how to work together. Like learning that if I were to plant marigolds with my veggies, I can defer pests naturally. The smell of the flower is unappealing to the pests and, therefore, keeps them away. I also learned that planting lower-growing plants can help provide ground cover, add moisture to the soil, and deter weed growth. Again, nature knows what it is doing, and we are barely scratching the surface, so I was very happy to be able to check out this book and listen to it. No one wants to spray anything on their vegetation as most of us are growing our own food so that we know where it's coming from and don't have to worry about chemicals. This book does a great job of explaining companion planting and making it easy to begin implementing immediately.

Excellent book for any gardener

Good addition to a gardener's library
I've been gardening for a while. I've learned a lot about soil health and the best times and places to plant certain plants. But I wanted to brush up on my companion planting skills. This book reminded me of some things I had forgotten, but also taught me a few things I didn't know. It's a good addition to my gardening audio library.
