I’m on book 8 currently. Ignore the negative reviews. I’ve been a zombie/apocalypse fan for over 40 years and won’t say I’ve covered it all however I was taken back to being a wee boy hiding behind the couch to the old scary movies. I listen on audiobook and the author and narrator are both at the top of their game. It’s a slightly better twist than the same old plots. Characters are brilliant and well written and without a doubt you will care what happens to them. The world expands and as I mentioned previously I am on book 8 and not in the slightest bored or thinking of starting anything else. I’ve not been give any incentive to write this, in fact I hardly ever do reviews but when I saw some of the negative nonsense here I had to step up and say how I feel. Thanks for reading my review. Dive into this series, you won’t look back.

After listening to the apocalypse crusade (same author) I needed my fix of zombie so got this boxset, definitely worth the price (even better if you have credits to use) really good story, got me hooked, people will die that you wish wouldn't but overall an amazing listen

I love Jilly-Bean's character! Heartbreaking in places but overall great plot & believable characters.

Enjoyed this especially as it was written (jn my opinion,) a realist. The only currency was firepower and a strong will to survive. The only thing with all these stories is that it always appears that the bad guys have all the sweets and the power but that may well be what would happen if Order fell. Kept me entertained right to the end as I had no idea how it would conclude.
