Summary

Greed, terrorism, and simple bad luck conspire to bring mankind to its knees as a viral infection spreads out of control, reducing those infected to undead horrors that feed upon the rest.

It's a time of misery and death for most, however there are some who are lucky, some who are ruthless, and some who are just too damned tough to go down without a fight. This is their story.

Avoid

Dire. Dreadfully written, narrated and thought up. Don’t waste a credit. Badly covers every “ism” there is.

Boring & don’t like the way some of U.S. Military is portrayed

I just couldn’t go far with this story. Our military would never turn into what this author suggests - even in an apocolypse. There would be a few of course, but they would be put down by other soldiers.

dont get me wrong, i love these books, but...

for some reason, in the third book of this box set, there is a random chapter from book 2(a complete 30 minutes, just skil over the entire chapter of audible 104) that is from Ram's POV, from when he is taken hostage by the blacks. It does not belong there at ALL, i am curious if this was just a production error for this box set, or if the writer put that chapter in on purpose? is the third book when purchased individually still like that?
it literally does nothing but get our hopes up, and despite the great story of the 3rd book, my mind is still having problems with chapter 104 even being there. its kind of hard to get past.

2020 during the quarantine.

reading this for the second time. made me laugh when sarah is at the store and gets to the toilet paper isle and its all gone. that is great writing and imagination. this series and the z series that fallows are action packed, and fun reads. if your a fan of the walking dead or zombies in general, you will love these books. main characters are never safe, and neither are the villains.

Not for me

I heard your prelude and have to admit I do not enjoy the automatic whore placement of the woman and the disgusting behavior of the army. YES you did warn me, but I did not think it would be that bad.....it was. I cannot find this book interesting as I spend most of my time crinkling my nose i distaste. Just not for me, this is more a mans book IMO

Borderline

This book just kept me there until the end. What I liked about the book was the zombies, they was not the major threat in many cases and did not have super human (zombie) powers that many of the book portray then as. Stephen King once said that when writing a book he tried to scare people, if he didn't think he was doing that then he went for the "Gross Out". This was a low average book, if you have nothing else it is OK.

the story was pretty well written but the characters we're just very unlikable Neil Sadie Sarah Nico the only ones do were likeable was RAM and jelly Bean I feel like you're going to kill somebody off it should have been one of those other ones they're just seems like you dumb them down so much that you can't get a good relationship with them don't be offended I am a fan of your riding but this just wasn't that great thank you for all your hard work
