About this listen

Beaten and battered in mind and body, the fugitives limp west, unaware that the human world is fading all around them, unaware that the last remnants of the goodness of man is being ground under the heel of evil at every turn. When confronted with that evil, fight or flight are their only choices, however, Neil's small group is hamstrung, forced to take on more refugees who come to them empty-handed, unarmed, and hungry. Never have I read such an amazing book series like the apocalypse series, the story is so different from your typical zombie stories, they are definitely by far the best books I've ever read and I can't recommend them enough. Amazing work from the author. Great story lines twists and cliff hangers when reading/listening, I'm checking audible every few days to see if book 5 is on there yet, I hope it's soon as I'm going crazy needing to find out what happens next!

I have just finished this and I have to say this is the best Zombie Series. The characters are all well defined and nobody is safe from death. I have listened to these on Audible and the narration is outstanding. Every character has a distinct voice. Plenty of zombies but this series is more focused on individual human characters and their struggle to survive in a completely changed world. This rag tag group pick up other survivors on their way. Just amazing!
