Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Charlie Changes into a Chicken by Sam Copeland, read by Rhashan Stone. Charlie McGuffin tries to be an optimist, but in reality he's a bit of a worrier. Some of the things Charlie is worried about are his brother (who is in hospital), their very panicked parents, unwanted attention from the school bully, and the fact that he's started turning into animals! Even though every kid wants a superhero power, Charlie isn't keen on turning into a pigeon in the middle of the school play.

best for your boys
This story is all over the place with so much that is unbelievable and yet a catnary is an amazing idea. I enjoyed it for the most part but sometimes the pacing was rather slow and torturous. I had to push myself to finish it as the characters didn't grab me as well as other books. Best for your adventurous young lads. Contains, catnary's, sea monsters, marshmellow shooters, dangerous stunts and a whole load of adventure. A lot of sound effects and I feel a lot was in some ways lost without the book in front of you. Though the reader did an amazing job to show the adventure.

Not good
Too many sound affects. Book well written but the amount of sound affects that have people speaking on them was absolutely ridiculous. Overall would be three taking 1 1/2 for the affects and 1/2 for the length which didn’t take long. Well performed and good book though.
