This booking is so good and I will be reading the other ones, but Tori is so annoying and the voice actor did not help me like her at all.

Something that I really liked is that Angelo from the first moment was instant in love and devoted to Tori... he never doubted her and he gave her the time and love that she deserved and needed. But Tori especially at the beginning of the story, it's like she was looking for excuses to think badly of him, it was strange because he never treated her badly and she lived being afraid of him or thought he hated her and from day 1 he treated her well. I got angry at her hahaha. Something that I really liked was that plot twist in the third act that drastically changed the villain that I didn't see coming... it made the ending more interesting. It was a great start to the series. I will definitely continue it! The narrators were good, I enjoyed it a lot more because of them.

Ive read a lot of dark romances recently and I think i just needed a cleanse. This was a nice story to listen too. The only thing I didn’t expect, just from the way the FMC is written, is for her to sleep with him as quickly as she did. I thought she would at least wait a few days to get to know the guy, rather than a few hours.

The last few hours the story kicks off, which is what we are waiting for. I was worried as there were only 2hrs left, that it would be a rush ending. I thought it worked out well. although I would of preferred it was giving more time to play out. I think it could of been a more exciting story that way.

overall a nice read, but from this story and reading the comments on the next book, nothing is pushing me to continue with the series.

I love a good mafia book, especially if it is arranged/forced marriage.

A great story with some twists and turns that will keep you interested. The danger of the MMC, the FMC loning for a normal life and getting anything but.
I kept looking at my headphones while doing "life things" wanting to pick them back up to continue.
As this is the 1st book I will have a lot more to listen to the comming time.

Another series I am going to have to finish.
