Summary

When a routine transport mission goes wrong, Captain Kai Brecken and her ragtag crew have to fight for their lives.

Murderous aliens and crooked Alliance soldiers aren't going to get in her way, but her conscience might. When they stumble upon an age-old secret, Kai and the crew must choose between saving themselves and re-igniting a war with grave consequences.

Spectacularly dull

Story starts with whining for the first 32 mins, which is where I stopped. Whining about everything, and quite how new specs for the ship's captain's birthday materialized out of nowhere is not discussed, only more and more whining. Story is not logical. Sci-fi audiences are more knowledgeable and expectant than this author gives credit for. She should check out Tana Stone or Lauran Dohner for inspiration. DISAPPOINTING
