Audiobook Review:
Narrated by Tor Thom & Andi Arndt.
Tor is becoming very popular with Spicy audio books and listening to him explains why. Love his gruff masculine voice. Andi played Lexie very well, she is an emotional character and I felt it all.

Oh my heart 🥹. This is book 1 of new series and my heart has already been put through the ringer. We are still going through the next generation's of Kroydon Hill and this is rest of the Beneventi members.
Lucky is the star football (🏈) player and is Lexie's brothers best friend. He is known for his playing life off the pitch too, but what no one knows is why.
Lexie is such a brave young lady and to keep living knowing she may not have long live was heartbreaking and amazed. She still carried on following her dreams but she will not fall in love because she doesn't want to leave them broken. So she is living each day as it comes. Besides the only person she loved, never noticed her. She will never fall again.
Bella has done amazing with all the information regarding Cystic Fibrosis and how she wrote with great care. It's hard to see someone you love live through this, so please check TW incase it sensitive subject for you.
Lexie is back from France and is moving in with her brother, only problem is Lucky lives there too. She can do this, just pretend she doesn't care and move on. What she doesn't know is that she is the only girl he has loved and he refuses to let her go this time.
I loved how he persued her despite grumbles from some people. My heart broke so many times through this story, so have a tissue close by. Listening to it made it seem so much more raw. My gosh there was a point I was sitting on the edge not knowing what to expect.
But the ending was perfect and I will let you find out what happens.
The group of friends and relatives are hilarious and absolutely amazing, I love how so many of them are connected and how they joke about it.
I'm so excited for this whole series.

Bella Matthews is one of those authors that just makes me feel good. She writes in a way that calms me and lets me escape into her world. This book in particular is incredible, not only because I love the couple, but it brings awareness to relevant issues. Lexie is back home after being in France for a year, and she moves into with her brother, Linc and his best friend, Lucky. She and Lucky have always been attracted to each other, but an event in their past results in him breaking their connection. Now that she's back though, he is going to make his move. Will she accept it? This is heavy at times, (yes, tissues are needed) but the true feelings of love are apparent from the start. Lexie has an incredible family, her brothers and parents are protective and integral in her life and decisions. Lucky is determined and all around impossible not to love. And I can't forget the omelettes! A fabulous story and great weekend escape.

Andi Arndt and Tor Thom are the story tellers and together they tugged at my heart. Arndt is Lexie and she deals with an array of emotions. From the protective feeling of keeping those she loves safe from pain and the passion she has for Lucky, she voices all the emotions. Thom is Lucky, a bit carefree at times, but the kind of man that hides a bit from his feelings until he can't anymore. Each scene, he builds up the feels. I enjoyed this cast and their wonderful performance.

I love Lucky and Lexie’s story and when I saw the audiobook is available I had to listen to it! I still feel like I don’t want the story to end, these two are making me feel every emotion possible.
The narrators are amazing, they made the story feel even more real. This is the first time I’ve listened to Andi Arndt and Tor Thom and they are simply amazing! I’ll definitely re-listen to this one again soon!
