Summary

Surin's mighty army is preparing for war. Zarbid, his chief sorcerer, has given the king his long-awaited opportunity to take vengeance on the south.

Oswain and his kingdom will be destroyed unless he can find the elusive Ice Maiden. She is the only one with the power to protect his vulnerable realm. It will be a race against time as Oswain sets out on a dangerous journey into Surin's home territory.

Meanwhile, Andrew and his scruffy dog, Tatters, enlist the help of Karador and his band of runaway slaves. The fate of the free world hangs in the balance as this small band takes on the combined might of Surin's army and the sorcerer's dark schemes.

Kids loved it!

We listened in the car and I thought the older kids might find it a bit too young but they all enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one!
