Summary

The last thing Amalie Holmes expected to do was to be hit by lightning - on purpose.

Inheriting a cottage in Pine Lake was supposed to be the escape from her stressful life as a social worker. I enjoyed the variety and interactions of the characters, also the humour. I loved the talking amphibian, Walter he is so funny.
