I've been trying to enjoying these books but Jacob is becoming the most stupid and arrogant character in the story hes worse than the demons that are meant to be bad. hes just a idiot when it comes to literally everything and if anyone has a different opinion to him they must be wrong, I understand this that it's meant to be him becoming OP and everything but if it wasnt for Todd and the other funny characters it wouldn't be worth listening to.
just for an example the gang get some information from the demon of chaos and lies and all that jazz which Jacob instantly believes no question and then immediately goes home to confront one of his closest allies while helped him power up since book 3 and he does it in the stupidest way just invites him over and just gives him shit I mean way to burn bridges on that one but its Jacob and he has to be right so his magic bullshit logic means that hes instantly justified in all of his I have to be right wisdom
