I listened to "Stop Overthinking Your Life" 2 days ago and it already has made positive changes to my life. The book offers useable and practical tips for managing anxiety and staying out of crippling overthinking loops. Although it does dive into some of the science behind why people have anxiety and overthink, it's not overwhelmingly technical, making it a very easy listen.

Overall, very much recommended for anyone struggling to regain control of their thoughts & regain their inner calm.

Incredibly helpful for worriers and overthinkers!

Let’s face it, you over think. Without ever having to meet you, I know that you overthink. That’s because many of us do. It’s a natural response to our up bringing and any hardships we faced so we can avoid them from happening or experiencing again.

Although your thoughts seem like they are real and that you are thinking them, much of your thoughts are just playing on their own. The problem is that overtime we can become our thoughts and our thoughts can affect our decisions and actions. When we lose control of our thoughts, it leads to anxiety, indecision, and loss of self-control.

So, it’s really important to get a handle on your thoughts, extremely important. And this book does a great job of helping you do that. It teaches you how to know when your thoughts are helping and when they are spiraling you out of control, and provides secrets and tips to mastering your thoughts so you can stop overthinking and start over living.

Overthinking is the bane of my existence, and this book does a wonderful job of diving into just how destructive overthinking can be, not just physical consequences, but also all the lost chances and opportunities. The steps are easy to understand, and they give better insight into just how to get yourself out of the spiral. Rumination and analysis paralysis are usually the hardest to pin down, and I liked that the author explored these.

And the narration? Made the experience much better.

Practically lovely
