What a conclusion to this crazy ride that was this duet! We were left on a cliffhanger and this story gave me everything I was hoping for and more. I didn't know what to expect and it did not disappoint. Kostas was a mess in this book and the titles of this duet really come into play, lies and truths! They were everywhere. It was also full of action and suspense and the steam was out of this world! Again, Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett brought these characters to life and you will not be disappointed with story or this audiobook! Loved this duet!

Nikki Ash and K. Webster continue to wow me with this mind-blowing finale to their “Truths and Lies Duet”. This book picks up where the first book ended, so if you have not read or listened to “Hidden Truths” what are you waiting for? That is where the story starts, it lays down the foundation for the duet and everything that took place in that book leads up to this mind blowing conclusion. Thalia had come to grips with her new life married to Kostas, but once again, the rug gets pulled out from under her and she becomes a pawn in Kostas’ brother’s sick game. Aris took so much from Talia, but he can not take her determination to survive and get her life back. Kostas’ life was spinning out of control, he lost everything when Talia left but he is not giving up on her. This dark and twisted, action-packed romantic suspense is brilliantly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense moments that brings you to the edge of your seat, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Nikki Ash and K. Webster, thank you for this wild and twisted ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jeffry Holz and Sarah Puckett’s exceptional narration continues as they bring these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they portray, give each a voice that is a perfect fit to that character’s persona, sounding believable in every role they play. Holz nails it as the mafia boss and Puckett takes Talia’s role up a notch with the confidence of the mafia queen she is. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary and support characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for the exceptional listen!

If you love dark, mafia romance with forced marriage as the backdrop, you’ll love this duet.

The second book starts one year later after the first book ends. I don’t want to give too much away, because there are part so the book that will leave you shocked and gasping out loud. Kostas and Talia have to fight their way back, and just when you think they can breath again, there’s another battle to fight, from malevolent forces both in and outside of their marriage.

Talia is strong, resilient, and resourceful- the perfect match to Kostas’ dark demeanor and fiercely protectively nature. I love how much they love and protect each other and the ones they love. The narration by Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett perfectly captured the tone and flavor of this intense duet. Nikki Ash and K Webster write dark romance like nobody’s business. I really loved the way the hero and heroine are written with grit, strength, and deadly purpose.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and I honestly enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed book one and could not wait for the conclusion. Having said that, I feel like it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. I liked Kostas in the first book, but struggled a little more with his character in this book. I definitely was not a fan of Aris. This book was action packed and kept me invested the whole time as I was desperately rooting for Talia and Kostas to get their happily ever after. I did feel like there were a lot of questions that were never really resolved at the end of the story, particulary around Selene and Aris.

I think Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett were truly fantastic with the narration of this story. They brought forth all the complicated emotions of this intense story. They were both highly enjoyable to listen to and I would definitely recommend them. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock

Stolen Lies by Nikki Ash and K Webster is a romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett. This is the second book in the Truths and Lies duet.

I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The relationship between Kostas and Talia is messy but you can't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Jeffrey and Sarah did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like romantic suspense, dark romances, contemporary romances, arranged marriages, or mafia romances.
