About this listen

“Blind eyes closed, but all-seeing. What was broken, mend and shatter.

Orphan child, man of letters, tower keeper, castle feller.

Body render, never feeling. What was severed, consume.

Left hand hunger. Right devour.

Starbreaker, death’s victor.

Starbreaker, world eater.

Starbreaker, awake.”

—Prophecy of Aion Origin, date unknown

The Culling is over, and against all odds, Sylvas stands victorious.

But even so, his training isn’t over. In fact, it’s barely even begun. Before he can do anything more than catch his breath, he and all the other cadets are whisked off planet for their next trial. Onslaught Citadel.

And this time, dying won’t be enough to save them.

I don't want to bring this down but this one really wasn't for me. I just don't get a lot of the stuff. The staff in the military academy are a complete mess all working from different angles against each other. the student soldiers are out of control. He decides he no longer wants to be a tool but still wants to fight then in the end bends himself over at the possibly world ending risky opertunity for him to be used as a tool again. His friends can sometimes be real dick heads out of nowhere. the doctor is absolutely insane and seems to have no idea where she works.
I dont know a lot of people seem to like it so this must just be on me. narration was amazing.

not for me

the book drags quite a bit. it doesn't really make me go like woah didn't see that coming or now that was cool. I feel it's a little plain but it has potential.
