Summary

Homecoming court nominee Erin Armstrong has it all, the best friends, the best boyfriend, and lead in the school play. But when she catches her bestie and her boyfriend holding hands behind the porta potty, her status as Rosemark High’s it-girl takes a nosedive.

Determined to win the crown and earn back her social status, Erin enlists the help of quirky theatre kid Peter Hunt. Together, the two craft a plan to ensure Erin’s victory. That is, if the two can keep their growing attraction from sabotaging the project.

A throwback to the early 2000s, Stage Kiss will have you longing for the days when being brave meant sending an AOL instant message to your crush. Back when Friday nights were made for football games and sleepovers with the friends you’d do anything for.

Sweet YA

A sweet YA romance with endearing characters and relatable experiences. I didn't care for the narrator for this book. Her voice would fit a younger MC. That aside I enjoyed this book. I wouldn't hesitate to let my 12 yr old read and/or listen to this.

So cute

I really enjoyed this one. The main character went through the ringer at the start but she didn’t let it beat her she pushed on and became a stronger person because of it. Wish I could rate this one higher

What a great story

A sweet YA romance, with an age appropriate language. The budding romance Between Erin and Peter. This was a great listen with great narration. #Audiobook Obsession

☆☆☆ She's All That with a slight spin ☆☆☆

I thought Stage Kiss was super sweet and an adorable high school romance. I think it tries a bit to clear up some social issues teens face during high school. Plus, it gives us that age old fear of what we assume is our best friend and our boyfriend cheating together. I like that Erin acted way above her age in a situation like that. I do think we'd all want to get a bit even. She sets her sights on sweet revenge. I say, good for her! I enjoyed Stephanie Quinn's narration. I felt she portrayed a teenage girl pretty good.

easy listen.

Didn’t love the narration.
Easy light listening fine for listening to while busy doing some tasks or commuting. Story was better for younger readers maybe.

A Teens story line - book/audiobook for Teens

I have reviewed this with younger teens in mind, because I found that to be who would like listening to a teen soap opera mini series.

For teens, the subject of being chosen as home coming queen and the pressures of popularity would be relatable and amusing.

Narrator's voice akin to Sharpey from High School Musical. Only much nicer characters.
