About this listen

Professional wallflower Nicole Andrews can’t wait to get out of Marlowe Junction. With only one year to go, she is eager to become the best college applicant at Rosemark High.

There’s only one problem: She still hasn’t found a niche to make her appear more well-rounded.

When a chance encounter with hottie-extraordinaire Chase Saunders pushes her in the direction of cross-country, Nicole thinks she’s finally found her answer. If only she could focus on her race times and stop getting distracted by Chase.

Will joining the team be enough to make Nicole stand out from the crowd? Or will she lose her heart in the process?

A throwback to the early 2000s, Chasing Love will have you longing for the days when Blockbuster was the coolest job in town and varsity letters were prized possessions. Back to when Friday nights were made for football games and sleepovers with the friends for whom you’d do anything.

This is a great YA romance. It reminds you what we went through as young adults. It brings back insecurity that we had growing up. What we went through growing out of children thoughts and trying to make things right . This story brought back a young girls trying to fit in. How Nicole is a senior at school , but is not very popular. Nicole is what in the 1700 they call a wall flower . Nicole doesn’t feel comfortable around boys , until she starts hanging out with Chase .
Chase was a senior lady yr and now he’s a assistance coach at Track . This story brings me back to my memories, in the 80s rollerblading and 90s music Where there was bluckbuster renting of movies .
Love how Nicole grew as a person

New author and narrator for me. Enjoyed the story and the way Kaye brought the characters to life. Brought good and bad memories of my own high school days back.

If you were a late 80's /early 90's baby, get ready to reminisce with some of these references. I'm old enough to remember many of the time period references but young enough to have only experienced a few. Taking us back to that time period was such a fun feature of this story and the familiarity of these references really helps us appreciate and relate to Nicole's situation on a whole different level. I like how the author includes an usual sport like cross country as the central sport of the story, it's unique and brings a different element. Nicole is a strong character and is very well written. I love how the author inches Nicole and Chase together and how their relationship developes throughout the book. Love it.

The narrator was absolutely perfect for this story and did an amazing job bringing out the excitement, angst, and devastation.

I loved the blooming relationship between Nichole and Chase, and her best friend Amy.

During Nichole’s final year of high school she’s determined to leave her mark and not be invisible anymore. But it’s only after Chase convinces her to join the track team that everything changes... but is it for the better or the worse.
After a failed attempt at dating another track star, Nichole doesn’t know what to do, and Chase’s actions are confusing her even more.

Loved the book, and I can’t wait to listen/read the rest of the series.
