About this listen
A gripping, unforgettable thriller featuring DS Jenna Morgan that will have you racing through the pages.
Who's stalking who?
When a beautiful, red-haired nurse’s body is found mutilated in her house in Lawley the morning after a date with Detective Constable Ryan Downey, all eyes turn to him.
But with a very specific modus operandi, Detective Sergeant Jenna Morgan and her team know exactly who the offender is. The trouble is, he’s currently serving a life stretch in HMP Long Lartin.
It soon becomes evident to DS Morgan and her team that there may be a copycat killer on the loose, one who may be taking his pleasure in stalking his victims first.
In a race against time, they need to track down the copycat and discover: who is pulling whose strings?
A high-adrenaline psychological crime novel, perfect for fans of Cara Hunter.
Please note: This book was previously published as Copycat.

The story so far is ok, once you get past the entire chapter of the police woman moaning about a hangover that then spills into the following chapter, if you are ok with people constantly sucking air in through their teeth or playing with their bottom lips, then you ought to be fine with the story.
I find the narration irritating, she sort of sounds like she's either in a hurry to say something or is questioning everything, there is little to differentiate one character from another and the number of times 'uh yeah' is used is frustrating enough without it sounding so disinterested.
I am hoping that there is an exceptional twist so as to smooth over the frustrations listed and make it worth the listen.
I am happy that this was a free listen, I would have been peeved to have paid for it or used a credit.
I am currently undecided.
