Summary

Someone is watching me.

I can feel it. I wake up in the middle of the night freaked out of my mind, paranoid a stranger is there. My skin prickles every time I leave my house, because I know someone is following me.

I’m afraid. Alone.

And there’s only one person left to turn to.

The stepbrother I never met.

He’s the president of a notorious motorcycle club and exactly the kind of person I need to protect me - cutthroat, cocky, dangerous.

Little did I know, hot as all holy hell Ky Parish, downright loathes me.

You know what they say - there's a fine line between love and hate.

And I'm definitely walking it.

Slashes in the Snow is an enemies to lovers, stepbrother romance, romantic suspense (emphasis on romance) with dark elements. Listener discretion is advised.

WELL IT DOESN’T COME BETTER THAN THIS

Oh Ms Never, you never disappoint, never fail to hook me in from the start and never stop blowing me away with your 5 star stories. Kiera and Ky’s journey was an amazing and haunting love story between step-siblings who hadn’t met.. but, when they did, it was verbal fireworks and hate at first sight. However, the tricky and very addictive path they journeyed, shone a light on their misconceptions of each other, healed damaged hearts and sizzled, crackled and burned it’s way into my memory. You’ve also laid a good introductory foundation to the Baum Squad MC where the Club is bursting with a wonderfully diverse range of alpha characters all waiting for their turn to find ‘the one’ and I cannot wait. This story gripped me, thrilled me, wowed me, frazzled me, entertained me and made me listen til dawn. The dual POV narration was perfect, it made the characters come alive and guaranteed a 5 star audiobook.. (I think Jason Clarke may be my absolute favorite narrator sigh).

Worth a credit? A Million x YES.

Near Perfection!

Oh man Jacob Morgan was the perfect narrator for Kai. He perfectly conveyed the mixture of tough and vulnerable the character oozed. It is an addictive quality for a male lead to have and Jacob made it even better. Muffy also did a wonderful job. From the very beginning she was Kira. No adjustment period or need to settle in.
The story starts off a little rough and a little rushed but once it finds it's rhythm it is near perfection. It was the perfect blend of sexy and sweet with some danger in the mix. For once the danger and the drama felt earned and not like an extra element thrown in to shake things up!
Totally credit worthy!

I can’t

I’ve tried, really tried, but the female narrator makes my teeth grind and my eyes roll to the back of my head. She’s so annoying. Jacob Morgan is perfect, as always, he gets 5 plus stars. The story line seems great, but I can’t finish.

Female Narrator almost ruined the story.

The female narrator was terrible. She sound like she was cry the whole time. There is also a lot of sex in this book, I typically like books with sex in it, but I also like more of the story. It seemed to drag on a bit in the middle with mostly sex and little story before it picked up again toward the end. The male narrator was great!

Loved this so very!

This was an absolutely amazing listen! It had a beginning that had you guessing who would do what, then when you got all 🔥 over this and that...BAM! Then to start questioning if maybe someone is perhaps unbalanced once things are thrown in the air.

At every turn there was actually something so suspenseful that you SERIOUSLY don't even notice how friggen erotic, sexy, with your own emotions wound tight with this couple. I have ...ahem, no pun intended...NEVER listened to a book where not only are the narrators chosen perfectly to portray the roles, but the suspenseful eroticism that maybe in other titles may take things too far or is just too much that you have tried and pass now...take a chance on this one!

I am hoping there is a title that will perhaps "back" this one. Both with character types and writing style!

M. Never is the Bomb

Every book of M. Never’s that I’ve listened to has not disappointed me yet. Slashes in the Snow is no different. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Enemy to lovers, intrigue, hot af sex, forgiveness, acceptance and the MC. Narration was also on point but you can never go wrong with Muffy Newtown or Jacob Morgan, I believe this was my first for Ryan West. I was all in from the beginning to the end.

Mc romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone

I guess this is technically a biker story but the biker lifestyle is not really included. It is a contemporary sizzling romance. Enemies to lovers. It is a standalone but I’m assuming there will be more in the series. I don’t feel like there was enough of a connection between the two main characters before they fell into a forever love. I wished there was more content about their HEA.

Now, for the narration. Ryan west has a super sexy voice but is only included in the epilogue. Jacob Morgan/Zachary Webber is, as always, superb. Then there is Muffy Newtown. I like her voice... I really do... except there is something about it that grates on me. Is it bc it’s breathy? Every time the story POV would change and muffy says “Kira” I would grit my teeth.

The story sucks you in from the beginning

As always, M Never writes a story with characters and plots that captivate from beginning to end. Multi dimensional people in fascinating situations that are expertly brought to life by Jacob Morgan and Muffy Newtown, and with a little bit of Ryan West for added measure. The story is great and the sex is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
