Sam is back and as things change so much and the future becomes uncertain we see a big change in the events to come. love how the group have developed and how as the war draws closer the condition and alliances become even more important.

So I got a code for an honest review.

But I’ll straight off the bat say I am biased, I like this authors writing, the storyline, characters and the way it’s developing as a series.
The narration is clear, with a good variety of voices to allow the listener to differentiate between characters.

Following a battle at the eleven capital, the groups must split up, with Sam and his smaller group heading to save his girlfriend, the queen. On the way that must battle the evil leviathan network, culminating with a final battle on the island kingdom.

I really liked the book but it is almost the same story as book 2 of Tanners Tower Climber series. Which of itself is a copy of the alabasta arc in One Piece:

Criminal org try to take over a kingdom with a shapeshifter as replacement King. Starting a civil war, Princess leaves kingdom and finds MC to help. Also the kingdom has some kind of ancient weapon that the bad guys want...

The plot holes in the first three books could be explained by the time travel. In this book the plot holes are gaping. In one chapter no ones ever been to this secret island even up until the point that the time travel happens. A couple chapters later he knows where this secret place is and what's in it. Completely put me off the story. Unfortunately for the reader he's done a really good job on a terrible book
