Saving Kyle

His name is Michael Kyle Hansberry, a young, suave rich kid who now is a hot felon. I call him my Kryponite on account of his good looks and charming smile that had me swooning before he was sent to be arraigned for a life sentence for killing a man and possibly others. A little over two years ago, I was his first victim at my residence, if you get my drift.

Now, he's my client in the court of law.

At first I was gullible. I was so naïve getting mixed up with Kyle. It felt like something out of a romantic suspense movie. Remember Disclosure, starring Demi Moore and Michael Douglass. Things just got out of control.

Didn't matter what time of day and where. Things just happened between me and Kyle.

Now, I must play savior to get him off this life sentence. The evidence is heavily stacked against him. Kyle, during our court-appointed meetings, often reminds me of our heated exchanges, but I have to stay focused for his sake.

I can't let Kyle take me there again. At least until he's out of prison, if that's even humanely possible.

I may have lost my mind, because I’m actually considering something that I would never think of. And the worst part? I know he's guilty, but a big part of me knows I cannot survive without Michael Kyle Hansberry.
