The past collides with the present when you travel to San Antonio, the fastest-growing city in Texas. • How to eat where the locals eat

  • Paranormal activity (which sites to visit if you want to see ghosts)
  • 1800s Spanish, German, Irish, and Mexican architecture
  • Largest maternal bat colony in the world (over 15 million of the creepy little creatures)
  • Dinosaur footprints up close

San Antonio is a beautiful, affordable destination, with so much history, museums and other attractions. This book does an excellent job of sharing the important places those new to San Antonia should visit. I appreciated the sections about downtown and the restaurants as that’s a fun place to hang and for me, experiencing the local food is always fun too. You’ll need to take notes or get the e-book too because this is an audiobook that will require you to write down some things, but it will be well worth it.

We are planning a trip to the US next year and San Antonio was not but is now on our list of places to visit! What a great and interesting guide by Patti and Danny Taylor! In this book they cover everything one needs to know about the city, including main tourist locations but also a lot of history and fun facts one should know. Great book! Highly recommend!
