I tried a sample but after the copyright, disclaimers and reading the contents, you were left with only one sentence of the introduction.
I was a little wary of a book like this as an audio book and rightly so. There are so many references to the diagrams, that it is pretty impossible to follow as an audio book. It is also very American focused and the chapter that pretty much just reads out URLs for American sailing club websites was a particularly low point. That along with the constant references to the US Coastguard and their standards (which the rest of the world is aware of and respects) began to get on my nerves very quickly.
With hindsight it was very optimistic of me to think about audio version of a book like this would be useful. I could have forgiven it that if it hadn't been so utterly focused on US readers.
