most of this series has been excellent and I'm comparing this to other stories in the series so whilst this is a pretty good book it's not as good as others but don't let that put you off its still worth a listen

Well written and narrated, I enjoyed this book very much. I think it was my favourite storyline so far of the series.

I am hooked on these books cant recommend enough. I love how past characters are woven in to new stories very enjoyable.

How have I got to this great age without having read one of these Charlie Muffin books. They’re great, Charlie’s a great - very human - hero. Fortunately I have a few more to enjoy
Narration’s terrific BTW, although we would disagree on the pronunciation of Islay.
