I was trying to decide which national park to visit, and this book helped a lot. Having tips about the best trails and camping spots was awesome. I liked that it talked about several different parks and not just one. The fun facts and stories were fun too. This gave me a better picture of what kind of adventure I want to have. I think I’m going to start with Grand Teton.

I’ve lived on the East Coast my entire life, and only got to visit the Rockies in the last few years, since my daughter moved to Montana. Oh my, so beautiful! I chose this book to help me remember what I have seen of Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. I learned things I hadn’t noticed during my visits, and I am intrigued by descriptions of the Rocky Mountain parks I have yet to visit. The writing is clear and informative without feeling too dense. This book helped me relive my experience. If you’re curious about the Rockies or planning a visit, this is a great companion to have along the way.
