How amazing to find all the ingredients of mankind displayed in 'a dime store novel'. All the motivations for folks to exhibit fear, greed, loyalty often at great cost, and love. Heaven on earth. (which includes tears & loss) is achievable and are on display in this story though I doubt it will happen in my lifetime. Still nice to lose myself for a bit in novels like this. Thanks to authors J & J. Formulaic, yes. Brilliant on all levels, yes.
