i thoroughly enjoyed these two novels a great balance between the story overall and the day to day activities the main character encounters, some of the best narration I've ever heard with distinct voices that at times I believed to be different people

can't wait for the 3rd title and wish I'd discovered it later on

A solid continuation of the first book, loved following Yu and her tumultuous first year at her sect, she certainly knows how to get into trouble. I can't wait to listen to the next installment.

I particularly like this book because the MC is so rationale. She displays intelligence and forethought and is a BEAST to top it off.
Moreover, the world is vast and the story has soo much potential for more. We are exposed to several side characters who I can imagine will be integral in future books.
Oh, and I can't wait to see how the MC's bonded companion progresses as well
