I loved it!
Probably one of the better AoS-books in my opinion. Lots of amazing set pieces, charismatic characters, beatiful friendships, loss and a bit of hope. Highly recommended.

Best AOS book
I’ve read a lot of AOS fiction now and with a few exceptions this books stands out. The characters are deeper, the plot cleverer, the motivations more believable.
Also great insights into the workings of the mortal realms.

Brilliant Story
Brilliant story, both in the whole but also in each part that makes it up. Feels like a mythic cycle or epic where the tale of a hero is told through many legends that interweave and progress. Would even recommend to those with no knowledge of the Age of Sigmar, as the story is one of humanity and life itself, where fantasy is used in the way it may, to highlight nuances within our lives that could otherwise go unnoticed.

Unexpected
I didn’t know at first if I wanted to pick up this book. But after a preview from one of the short novels I just wanted to know how this book ended.
I liked the reference from other events in the Age of Sigmar timeline. The only dislike was the narrating of some sentences. There are al lot of “he said” bits that annoyed me, but overall a surprisingly good read.

brilliant
I was unsure at first due to not really being into age of sigma and especially elves at that, decided to try it because of the ratings it had..I have to admit it was brilliant. definitely recommend it..

What a twist…
This was an enjoyable listen and loved every second of it. Guy Haley has really written something good here and I think the first AOS book he’s written too I think.
Highly recommend listening, as there is a twist that will shock you in the end. ;-)

Tragedy of the Autumn Prince
Prince Maesa by Guy Haley is a truly astounding 'novel'. It is a regeneration of the character's many short story appearances with new content to thread the tale together as a full novel. At it's heart, it is a beautiful fable of friendship coloured by Prince Maesa's (The Autumn Prince) and Shattercap's (The Spite) interwoven fate of tragedy. These characters felt human (as far as elves and spites go) and incredibly flushed out in their personality and motivations. The ending of this novel is something to be admired, if a story can make you feel, then the author has created something memorable and timeless. And just as Prince Maesa himself is destined, I believe I shall soon restart this story yet again...
