Texas In turmoil
After Texas is thrown into chaos by an EMP attack by a ruthless businessman, Jack Warrant and his family struggle to unite in the first few hours and get home. Good first book, as the initial shock kicks in.

Home grown terror.
Another EMP attack book but this time the amazing author Tom Abrahams twist it around making it a home grown terrorizing, this is only a short beginning as book one of the series.
What next we will have to wait to find out !
Kevin Pierce is an excellent narrator without a doubt.
My recommendations !!!

Not another right-wing nut-case, not again 😭
Good parts? Just the narration and that it is well-structured as a literary piece of text.
Bad parts? Well:
- A tech CEO's that is super rich viewed as a socialist who wants to reshape the world for the better, but actually just wants to ruin everyone and also holds personal grudges? COME ON!
- Again: a tech CEO who is a socialist?
- Guns
- An unnecessary insight of right wing nutcases who view themselves as saviours
- Sloppy nonsensical story
I really disliked the story. I won't be getting more books from the author.

Another awesome book by Tom Abrahams
I really enjoyed the brilliant Traveler Series and this 1st book in the new series does not disapoint. I was hooked from the beginning right until the end. The narration by Kevin Pierce is amazing as usual.
I am really looking forward to book 2.
