Heroine is Landyn & hero is Brax . They both met in an unusual circumstance but that didn't stop Brax from protecting her . Landyn father has a deal with the Mexican Cartel. He gives Landyn , his daughter, to the Cartel for marriage. That’s when Brax ( not his real name) takes one look at her and knows he has to save her .
The thing with Brax is for 2 years he’s been undercover to bring down down the Cartel and everyone that works with them . The story had so many twists, mystery and lots of action. . Brax has a big heart , he seems a young man , Rocco , that he wants to save from that life . One big shock is when Landyn mother throws a big terrible tell about Brax brother and her father
Along the way Brax and Landyn start to grow feelings for each other. Grab it and see does Brax bring down the Cartel. How does the feelings for both Brax and Landyn grow.
You couldn’t get better performers for this story. Both Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro nailed the story. They played all the characters perfectly, their voices drew you in. , very smooth, and growling when it needed it , clear and great.

To say the book started with a bang is an understatement. So much happens it’s hard to get your heart rate under control. Landyn and Brax were a compelling couple. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and steamy. The premise of the book is a favourite of mine arranged marriage, cartel, danger, drugs and of course hot and steamy. Not only were the main characters relatable and had that connection that you crave in your H and h but the side characters were equally as likeable. I’m hoping we get to see more in future books. Outstanding book. I cannot wait to see where we go from here.
The audible narration was exceptional. It totally enhanced the experience and my enjoyment of the book.
