A good follow on

I have listened to all 3 of these books so far, I was a bit disappoint with the second installment with it repeating every chapter, but this third installment is much better. The story has great movement and plenty adventure.

In all 3 books I've liked the narration from both actors.

The end?

I really enjoyed this book and feel like the story is getting deeper as we find out more about the the villains, I'm left with a lot of questions that need answers which I hope to find in the next book, however after reading the epilogue and the description of book 4 I feel like this may be the end of Talon and Jade's story as we focus more on his older brother, I really hope I am wrong and that their story continues in the next book along with Jonahs story otherwise I will feel like Talon and Jades story is unfinished.

Jade is way to needy

I felt Jade was to needy in this book apart from that was really good. I'm hoping the next book catches the other two men.

Corny

Basically it's soft porn dressed up as being a thriller. Very badly described sex scenes with it. Disappointed

Still no resolution

I cannot believe I had to suffer through endless gratuitous love scenes and still have no results. I hope the next book has less sex and more plot.

No ending...

It was frustrating that the series didn't give us a wrap up of Talons story. Will we have to listen to 6 more books to get a conclusion - the POV from the other two brothers?

I did not like the women who read any of these books. Love York!

Finally a book with a semi ending!!! This series has been a nail biter from the beginning and I'm glad I didn't want to throw my headphones at the end like I did after books 1 & 2. Talon & Jade are off the charts hot together, the dirty talk, the way they deal with everything in life by having extremely hot sex and the way they love each other makes me swoon. This series flashes back to a very hard subject matter and that makes it hard not to feel anger and sadness towards the characters. I don't think i've hated characters in a book this much in a long time, I just want them to rot in jail and it's not even a real story. I was very excited to get a few answers but still some things are left hanging out there, I assume for book 4. Can't wait for Jonah's story but I think i'll wait until book 6 is out before I start....Yeah ok probably not but I'll wish I had after the cliffhangers the author is sure to leave us with at the end of each book!

Narration was perfect!

Too expensive

Not worth the cost! Way to expensive for one book! Audible books cost enough already.

OMG

Helen Hardy, you were one of the best kept secrets. If it were not for a friend on Facebook stating that I should try this story line, I wouldn't have ever known. I am so very excited writing this review for Jonas's story to come out that my fingers and missing keys. For those who have not read the serious go and get it. She really keeps you on you toes. There are a lot of stories where you are able to figure things out before they happen (and this is fine, I like those too) but this is not one of them. I could not have guessed the third individual who committed this crime. This blew me away. Also go for the audiobook because the individuals selected to read it keep your attention. Great Job Helene Hardt. I look forward to reading more of your work.

P.S. This is the first time that I I have actually written a decent review on a book without actually just checking the stars. Way to go.

What a waste of a credit.

I waited months and months and no proper ending now they will make another series with the brother so we can get an actual ending. Neva Navarre was the worst narrator for this series of books. I was really wishing for an ending not another cliff hanger. Sebastian York is amazing, but please don't give him that country accent for the next book series. His voice needs no accent.

Decent love story and mystery but disappointing and disturbing

They’ll warn you and I’ll warn you, there are truly disturbing scenes in this book. I knew that from the start but had no idea how bad it was. And the author didn’t gloss over it either. Lots of horrifying details.

On the other side of it, I’m not usually the kind of person to say there was too much sex, but there was too much sex; and the fact he’d been sexually abused as a child and wanted to do the same things to her (although obviously concentual) that was done to him, it just didn’t make sense to me. That he’d want to have anything to do with anal sex was baffling and disturbing and I couldn’t get it out of my head at every single sex scene. That doing that to her wasn’t even close to being a trigger, didn’t make sense.

I read all 3 books of Talon and Jade’s love story because I wanted to see how the story unfolded and I was really hoping for justice. I loved the therapy sessions and felt like I was working through the ordeal with Talon. But I found myself fast forwarding thru the sex scenes after a while because they felt really dirty for someone who’d been so abused. I know people handle their trauma differently but I couldn’t separate the two and it took a lot away from the story for me.

Even without the trauma, I’m always a bit annoyed when the characters are seemingly so overcome with sexual desire that they can’t help themselves whenever they see the other person again. They’re so enthralled with sexual tension that literally, and I mean literally, nothing else matters till they have an orgasm. They are so overcome by their hormones that they can’t even have a conversation before they jump each other. It’s a bit much and unrealistic. I’m truly glad I have the romance package and didn’t have to use a credit for this.

Not as good as the previous books.

This one really took a turn for me. I loved the first two books, but the sex scenes in this one escalated very quickly and were way more graphic. I felt like Talon had a shift in his character almost, and it took away from the story. That and the annoying overuse of the nickname “Blue Eyes,” especially when Jade was speaking for Talon. It got to the point where I cringed every time it was used. The story itself kept me listening. It of course gave us a lot of revelations towards the end but still ended with unanswered questions. I’ve been debating about giving the next book a try or not. I almost didn’t make it through this one.

Could have been condensed into 1 book

The story is compelling but drags on. Could have easily been one book. I hate Jade’s character. Plenty of book sense but she lacks common sense.

Neva Navarre has the most annoying voice ever. I hated her narration....
