I can’t tell if we’re fighting…or flirting?

Being traded to the Seattle Vipers has left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, they’re my team, the team I’ve loved and supported since I was a kid, but on the other hand, he’s here. Him. Ant Decker. Infamous NHL bad boy. Right wing to my left. A man who’s made it his sole purpose in life to be better than me.

Well, the joke’s on him, because I’m faster, and my stats are better than his.

Not that I’m competing with him. Of course not. I wouldn’t stoop to his level.

He’s the most infuriating person I’ve ever met. A dark, chaotic presence that distracts me.

When we’re not coming to blows on the ice, he tries to provoke me by calling me Princess. And Pretty Boy...and Babygirl.

I hate it. Obviously, I do. It makes me so angry I can hardly see straight.

So why does my body react as if I like it?

I have had rhisnon my TBR for a while and decided to listen to the audio while decorating and boy did time fly... I could have listened to more. The banter, the sweetness, the dirty talk... all wrapped up in a found family style bow. I really enjoyed it andnit left me with a warm fuzzy feeling.
The narrators, Liam Dicosomo abd Tim Paige are two that I've heard team up in other audio books and they are always a good match and two voices that I really like and can listen to all day. Well performed and kept me hooked yet again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. bravo 👏 👏 I urge mm fans to listen to this book because it is absolutely fantastic and recommend you ignore the vitriol by one reviewer on here. If mm isn’t your jam, I wish people would just move on rather than be scathing, I loved every second of this story. The characters were brilliantly written and the narrators did a superb job. The emotional journey of Ant & Robbie was exceptional and their camaraderie was hilarious.

I have only ever got to the end of one of Jessie H Reign books. The narration was good but I never like any of the characters. They lack emotion and character and I just don’t care enough to continue. I think I liked The step brother book I think. The writing is robotic for me I’m afraid and this market is so saturated that I’d rather just move on to something else. Lesson learned. X
