Easy to Follow

I have a co-worker who talks about being plant-based all the time. I've been intrigued about it....I have always worried about doing it. While I like meat...I wouldn't say I have to have it. The author did a good job giving detailed information about the lifestyle, including benefits and health changes. I am a fan of new recipes which the book also had and starting off I find the meal plans super helpful!

Weight loss solution!

Plant-based food have been the solution for losing weight and then maintaining that weight over time. No other diet has been able to do it for me. This audiobook has provided some of the best information I have found. This kind of diet can be great if you take the time to find what plants you like and then choose the recipes based on what you prefer. Highly suggested for everyone,

Interesting information for plant-based diet.

A plant-based diet will change you for the better, and the changes in your body will be positive. The author discusses the advantages and disadvantages of going with a plant-based diet. It is more sustainable and helps the planet. She also discusses the different types of plant-based eating groups, such as vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian, and pescatarian, and what the differences are. She reviews the extensive history of vegetarian eating and why it is so popular today. Plus, the negative consequences of processed foods on the human body today. Why do products like beef, port, and chicken use so many more resources than plant-based foods. And how just modifying your diet even a little towards a plant-based diet will yield positive results for your body and the planet. Finally, the author provides multiple delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I definitely recommend this audiobook to anyone interested in improving their health and helping the planet.

Insightful Guide to a Plant-Based Diet

This is a great guide to anyone who's looking to improve their health by starting a plant-based diet. I liked how the author takes on challenges to a plant-based diet head on such as them being tasteless and not child friendly. I liked the nutritionist-approved recipes along with the explanations of the health benefits gained from each recipe. A great starting point for anyone who's looking to start!

The plant-based weight loss handbook!

For someone like me who wants to have a lifestyle approach when it comes to food vs. a fad diet, this book was what I've been looking for. I know we all struggle with eating right so this book definitely gave valuable information on what plant based nutrition is and the impact it can have on our long-term health. It has shifted my mindset from a plant-based diet not being delicious enough and I am eager to try all the recipes that were given. Definitely a must listen!

Holistic benefits from Plant based Weight Loss

Plant-Based Weight Loss is indeed an extreme Life-Changing book that gives holistic benefits. it gives clear expiation of how plants not only help with weight loss but also prevent chronic diseases, and improve your quality of life.
I was so fed-up of diet program that are un realistic.
Reading this book just has given me new hope, giving different recipes of plant foods is my main take. you don't have to skip meals its very user friendly and easy to apply. This is a must read for everyone who needs loose weight and to improve their lives holistically. very well researched. good read and well narrated.

Very helpful to me

Everything you need!

In “Plant-Based Weight Loss” Catherine Allan takes a deep dive into the various diets and foods of plant-based eating but not before describing in detail why one might choose to do so. Detailed and practical, this guide is everything you need to ease into new eating habits. I appreciated that Allan always qualified her suggestions with explanations about the health and nutrition benefits of each food.

I particularly enjoyed hearing all the recipes and meal ideas, cleverly organized by the time of day you might consider consuming them.

I highly recommend this book for those with health issues such as diabetes or heart problems, those who want to lose weight through plant-based eating, and for those who are increasingly aware and concerned about the environmental impacts of eating animal-based and processed foods.
