About this listen

Perron Manor—a place evil calls home

Sisters Sarah and Chloe inherit a house they could never have previously dreamed of owning. It seems too good to be true.

Shortly after they move in, however, the siblings start to notice strange things: horrible smells, sudden drops in temperature, as well as unexplainable sounds and feelings of being watched.

All of that is compounded when they find a study upstairs, filled with occult items and a strange book written in Latin.

Their experiences grow more frequent and more terrifying, building towards a heart-stopping climax where the sisters come face to face with the evil behind Perron Manor. Will they survive and save their very souls?

After I managed to increase the speed of the narrator I enjoyed the story more, it was a little slow to start but did improve

Managed to get to chapter 10 but the narrator is awful, he speaks too slowly and when doing the voices he makes them sound like a guy taking the piss out of how women sound and all carter's sounded stupid because he spoke so slowly, I couldn't take anymore and returned the title.

Awful narrator!

Some of the voices were annoying but understandable a man speaking as a woman but fantastic listen

This was actually quite enjoyable. yes it's a slow burner but that's part of the fun, narrator is fine if you speed him up to 1.15 or 1.2 although yes, sorry Hannibal, your female characterisations were a bit odd.

Speed it up to 1.15

I am breaking with tradition here. If I've nothing nice to say, etc, and it doesn't sit well doing this - however the narrator is really terrible. I increased the speed of narration which I've never done before over 80 books, The acting out of characters particularly females was toe curling and you had to constantly adjust how they would probably sound in your own mind. A bit hard going however I'm persevering. Not a great story either, it's predictable.

The Narrator....
