About this listen

Onneron is no longer at peace. Preparations for war have begun. There are rifts within the College and the Church. Both factions need to adapt to the ever-changing world and find their new place within it.

Treace is sent into enemy territory to find the key to unlocking more powerful magic that could help save thousands of lives.

But he isn't the only one looking for the key.

New friends and enemies alike will emerge that will test Treace's courage, skill, determination, and loyalty. As events unfold, Treace will be forced to make decisions that place his life, and the lives of the people he cares about, at stake.

The Saga of The Wolf continues with the second book in the epic series, Path of Tears.

I felt the story was not as strong and I cannot determine if the narrator made the characters soft or whether the story made them so. It just seemed that the characters did not appreciate they were in danger when they obviously were and thus were not dynamic enough in their actions to resolve their situation

Not as good as book one

Overall story isn’t bad.

I’ve mentioned in my review of the previous book that the author tends to irritatingly over explain simple concepts and this book is no different.

What really irked me with this one was the constant use of “drug” as the past tense of drag. Is this an Americanism? It is so grating and I can’t believe no one picked this up in editing. People are constantly being “drug behind a horse” or “drug over to the other side of the cell” etc and it honestly takes away from the story as it’s so distracting.

Bizarre wording

slow repetitive and full of cliche, main characters condtsly explain what they just did or obvious motivations none talk in a natural way I hated this book

doesn't live up to the promise of book 1

Sorry but I really did not enjoy rhis book. It was slow, muddled and I thought the author lost his way in the middle.

Boring
