Summary
From New York Times best-selling authors, Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland, comes a new standalone novel.
It started out like any normal day.
Then the fender bender happened.
The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous.
Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth.
Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway - one I was excited about.
Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.
Whoops!
Yeah, so I didn’t get the position.
The problem was, I really wanted it. No, I needed it. Anything to get me out of my current career and back into working with kids.
So, even though Hollis LaCroix was as intimidating as he was devastatingly handsome, I went back to see him and begged for a chance.
To my surprise, he gave me a shot taking care of his troubled niece. At least my attraction to him wouldn’t be able to go anywhere. I wasn’t about to jeopardize my job or the strong bond Hailey and I formed. But resisting the magnetic pull between us wasn’t that simple. (Then there was our little underwear game - don’t ask.)
We continued to flirt without crossing the line - until it finally happened.
This is the part of the story where we fall in love and live happily ever after, right?
Well, life has a way of throwing some major curveballs.
Ours was one I didn’t see coming.

BRILLIANT!
Park Avenue Player by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland was yet another read by these two authors I could not get enough of! I adore these two authors writing who seem to know just what I want and need from my romance read.
PARK AVENUE PLAYER is fun, flirty, had a female character with sass and backbone which I love and a bossy Alpha who is a bit on the arrogant side.
Hollis & Elodie have their first encounter when they have a little car accident on a car park, Elodie is late for an interview and Hollis claims he has an appointment. Hollis meets Elodie again when he discovers she is the person he is supposed to be interviewing for the nanny position to his niece, who he has custody of, this scenario isn't new for me, I have read books before with this sort of start to a relationship but it's the after, the sass and determination of Elodie who obviously didn't get the job at first and the events that followed that made this different, and I book I couldn't get enough of.
Elodie and Hollis had chemistry, passion, I enjoyed the push and pull and there was even a surprising twist in this story that I didn't see coming, it was a twist that had me all kinds of confused and I actually felt hurt for Elodie, it was actually a heartbreaking moment.
PARK AVENUE PLAYER is told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea. I listened to this in audio and as always the narrators Sebastian York and Andi Arndt who normally narrate for Vi and Penelope's books really made this story more believable, more real. more enjoyable than actually reading the book.
Another amazing story by this amazing writing duo!
