Story
Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano. Number one: He’s obnoxious. Number two: We were enemies more than a decade ago. Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend. I could go on and on, really. When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment, and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents, the grandson turns out to be Troy. Lucky me. Four hours a week of having to deal with his insufferable personality and unsolicited advice - the only consolation is getting to stare at his annoyingly gorgeous face, in between our many arguments.

Story
It started out like any normal day. Then the fender bender happened. The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth. Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway - one I was excited about. Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.

Money or love? Which would you choose? You probably just answered the question in your head, thinking it's an easy decision. For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot. I needed to go far away to think it through. As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation. Then, he left. I thought I'd never see him again. But fate had other plans. Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.

A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.

I’d never forgotten him - a man I’d yet to meet. Griffin Quinn was my childhood pen pal, the British boy who couldn’t have been more different from me. Over the years, through hundreds of letters, we became best friends, sharing our deepest, darkest secrets and forming a connection I never thought could break. Until one day, it did. Then, out of the blue, a new letter arrived. A scathing one - one with eight years of pent-up anger. I had no choice but to finally come clean as to why I stopped writing. Griffin forgave me, and we were able to rekindle our childhood connection.

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old". Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.

It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod”, and she was “Montana”, but of course those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind. Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape - my sanctuary. Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out. From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed. She was an addiction. At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities...and she was adamant that we keep things that way.

What do you do when a sexy older man moves into your family’s summer rental? Well, apparently, you make a fool of yourself - over and over. Things didn’t exactly get off on the right foot with Noah Cavallari. Our first encounter was embarrassing, to say the least. But despite that, I found myself waking up every day with a newfound energy. Nothing exciting ever happened on the lake - not until Noah moved into the small boathouse on our property. When my mother became ill, I inherited the responsibility of making sure our guests were well taken care of.

Finding a good roommate through a classified ad isn’t as easy as it sounds. I was starting to lose hope. Until a knock at my door came, and God answered my prayers. Except...uh...wrong prayer, God. I’d definitely requested the big guy find me a drop-dead gorgeous man on more than one occasion...just not as my roommate. Declan Tate talked me into interviewing him anyway. While he was amusing and charismatic, I wouldn’t have been comfortable living with a man, so I regretfully declined. Then, cupcakes showed up at my door.

When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was...well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me. Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site - one that invited men ages 21 to 27 to apply for a date.

Summary
Please note: This book was previously published as Dear Bridget I Want You. Only the title and cover have been changed. All other content remains the same.
From The New York Times best-selling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Mister Moneybags comes a new, sexy stand-alone novel.
Dear Bridget,
I’m writing this letter because it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever garner the courage to say this to your face.
So, here goes.
We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.
But here’s the thing...for some bloody reason, I can’t stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.
I want you.
The only reason I’m even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don’t believe it’s one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we’re joking around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke.
So, what’s the purpose of this note? I guess it’s a reminder that we’re adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it’s to let you know that I’m leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you’d fancy a British bedmate in the middle of the night sometime.
No questions asked.
Think about it.
Or don’t.
Whatever you choose.
It’s doubtful I’ll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.

I loved this book. It had me laughing out at times and i was so invested in the Characters, I couldn"t stop listening.
I love when Zachary and Andi work together, their voices are so expressive, I feel everything they act, their performance is always special.
Yes Andi's british accent might've dropped a few times, but so what, in my opinion her charisma is more important than the accent.
Zachary Webber's voice is phenomenal, he can make the dictionary sound hot.
If you want a funny, sexy, entertaining story, than look no further. I would give this 10 stars for each category if I could.

Great story but unconvincing British dialogue
Interesting story with a warm sweet heart breaking centre. Both Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are fantastic writers, but please don't try a British character again unless you find a British editor who can catch all the mistakes. I'm not picky but the dialogue was full (and yes I mean FULL) of words and expression an English man would never say. And please note, Loo does not mean bathroom, it mean's toilet. Brits never say 'buddy' and never ever say 'different than'
So it just jarred and was harder to believable
Likewise, the narrator made several mistakes with the accent.

5 full stars - I loved it
I love Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, they complement each other perfectly and I always find myself addicted to their stories. They’re funny, sexy and very easy to read. Dear Bridget is quite possibly one of my favourites to date, the characters are adorable, and when I say characters I specifically mean Brendon, who stole the show for me, I loved his interactions with Simon, and some of my favourite scenes were with Brenden and Simon, so sweet. Simon, I must say, has a wicked sense of humour and a dirty mouth, very British. I loved him! Bridget, was honest, practical and a strong character, she worked complemented Simon’s boyish charm perfectly, plus their chemistry scorching. A wonderful, entertaining rom com, with an added twist (very clever), wonderfully written in dual POV. Perfectly narrated by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt. I loved it.

A HEARTWARMING AND DELICIOUS ROM/COM
This lighthearted dual POV love story had a couple of loveable characters who wanted very different things out of life.. but, as the sweet sexy hero says “you don’t choose love - love chooses you”. Simon and Bridget were in two very different places in their lives - they tried to just be friends.. however, their sizzling chemistry and mutual attraction couldn’t be denied. And, before long, the carefree handsome charming twenty-nine yr old British Doctor is proposing naughty things, dirty-talking his way into her Monday Tuesday Wednesday etc etc... and unwittingly falling hard for the thirty plus yr old widowed Mom/Nurse. Bridget is a devoted Mom, she’s cautious and diligent but somehow Simon weaves his charismatic ways into hers and her son’s lives and they’d love him to stay there. Unfortunately though, that’s not going to be possible because Simon’s planning to go back home to the UK after his internship and so their relationship’s got an end date.. but thankfully Fate and Destiny had other plans.
An easy-going romance with heart, heat and a loveable charmer who proves himself worthy over and over again. It’s a fairly predictable yet totally addictive low angst story however these two talented authors still managed to add a jaw-dropping shocking twist that wow I didn’t see coming. Despite tragedy in both their pasts there was an ease and playfulness to the story as Simon and Bridget just clicked together. With plenty of humorous scenes as the carefree droolworthy Playboy falls for the independent strong yet vulnerable Mom.. and her cute eight yr old son.
Worth a credit? Yes.. a perfectly narrated enjoyable and entertaining Rom/com that had flirty banter leading to passion, pleasures, love and sweet HEA’s.

Cute and sweet 👍
Another hit by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland!! When you put these two together and it's romantic comedy magic. This is a sexy, light, enjoyable listen.
Nurse Bridget has an incident with a 🐟 hook in an awkward place that lands her in the ER. The doctor that comes to fetch out the hook is a young, attractive playboy named Simon. His joking tone about the situation at hand throws single mom Bridget off kilter.
After loosing her husband to a car crash her dating life has been non existent. Bridget just dismisses the indecent but can't stop thinking of Simon. While raising her son and trying to keep the house she and her husband bought together, dating is something not only is she not ready for but, doesn't have the time to pursue. When her yoga instructor hooks her up with a renter. As it turns out he's a doctor completing his residency. When he shows up of course, it's "hottie ER doctor" Simon. awkward..
The flirting banter that ensues between Bridget and Simon will have your belly swimming with butterflies. The chemistry between these two is instant the romance is not. The slow sexy build up will have you squirming in your panties lol.
The narration only added to this enchanting book. Andi and Zack are favorites of mine. They always do a fantastic job. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the accent needed to portray Simon but Zack nailed it and made it sexy. This 5 star listen was certainly worth the credit!

Pleasant Story
This story was very pleasant to listen to. I liked how Simon developed emotionally throughout the book as well did Bridget. They were both stuck and lost in time; I mean they couldn’t have predicted what happened go their significant others. Also, the authors show how monotony is your worse enemy in a relationship, which suggests that both parties have to work hard to keep the spark going. I suppose the authors touch up on the subject a bit.
The performance was stellar for both Andi and Zachary. I would never get tired of listening to them! Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland did a good job! 👏🏼

A love story that will keep your attention and give you warm fuzzies at the end. Do not hesitate to use that credit. You’ll love it, I promise.
