About this listen

Do you often find yourself overthinking situations and events to the point of debilitation, such as social events, job-related stuff, people interactions, and even vacations?

Do you feel super tired and fatigued at the end of the day as a result of this non-stop thinking and racing thoughts that wear you down?

How many times have you stayed up late at night because you cannot stop worrying about that one little slip-up you had at work? Now, how many times have you lost yourself in your thoughts for long stretches of time about that one embarrassing thing that you did back when you were in high school?

This is just the tip of the iceberg when you are suffering from chronic overthinking, right?

You might seem a bit confused about what could be wrong about thinking too much, like getting lost in your thoughts is relatively harmless, but that is not what overthinking is.

Overthinking is when your mind gets overloaded by a couple of negative thoughts that seem to be on an endless loop that keeps playing faster and faster. When you do manage to stop overthinking, you will notice that you have already wasted a lot of time, and that you are also mentally and physically drained of energy.

This audiobook aims to help you identify the reasons why you are constantly overthinking, and you will also learn proven techniques on how you can pull yourself out of the death spiral of overthinking before you can fall in any deeper.

The job is not for the faint of heart nor does it entail what you may think it entails. Just like anyone else working through beauracratic red tape, their hands are tied by the powers that be which prevents them from doing their job effectively. Despite that obstacle, they still prevail triumphantly. Thanks to them, many American lives were saved and atrocities prevented. The author did an excellent job of telling his story and this book is highly recommended.

I was expecting a regular pop culture book on how to make lists, how to build rewards and how to explain the next time you didn't get something done on time (that old '"dog ate my homework: excuse will only work for so long). These authors have a much more ambitious aim -- to change your life. The material here goes far beyond the realm of just changing habits, it changes your approach.

Why end up with “overthinking”? Maybe this is a result of fear of failure. So take a positive stand of “stop worrying”

and slowly put your plans into the next stage as directed by this enlightening audio book.

Take a stand now.

These are excuses that need not be anti-productive, and when deleted from my morning, or culled back, I have time for bigger, and better things. The narrator was easy to listen to and encouraging. The book-length was short enough that I am able to listen to it again, to make sure I am using ALL the author’s tips. Because this book was a delight, I plan to read other books by this author.
