Maybe not the most exciting volume, but it sets up many things that are to come. Characters are still great as well as the world and the lore. I am looking forward to the next volume.

It’s pretty good overall

this certainly shouldn't be the first book you grab if you're looking to just dive into the series. what for long time fans is essentially a collection of backstage moments for side and minor characters could feel very slow paced and boring to anyone not so thoroughly invested in the series that you're happy to hear what the maid ate for lunch.

filler novel

The book is essentially a filler episode, but it was interesting to see a bit more about the Lizard men and how they are incorporating with Nazarick.
I enjoy being in this world, so I didn't mind the filler. But I think releasing this book and the Caster of Destruction together would have been better.
Don't expect anything too deep, but if you enjoy being in the world for a few hours, then I'd recommend it to you

Again an awesome produced audio book ! And more in depth detail in relation to items not mentioned in the manga not the anime - highly recommend people to listen to these :)

The one thing I would improve is the time skip seems a bit jumbled

Keep it coming

The performance, as always, is unbelievably good and is enough to keep you interested in the more mundane moments of the novel.

This volume helps flesh out the world and side characters but doesn't contribute massively to the overall plot, although parts from this volume will be mentioned in the future.

if you have enough credits definitely get this but if you are short or really want to get back into the action with Ainz then pick another volume.

Entertaining but filler
