About this listen

Say goodbye to sleepless nights, stressed-out days, and the chaos overthinking has been causing in your life!

Do you worry about every little thing people say or do around you? What did they mean? Might you have made a mistake? Are they out to get you? Or have you maybe offended or upset them? Do self-doubt and second-guessing sabotage you at every turn? Do you agonize about the past and fret over the future, keeping you from making the most of the present?

It’s exhausting to live with your mind racing around from one dreadful possibility to the next, even when you know logically that a lot of these thoughts are unrealistic or at least unlikely. Logic quite often has nothing to do with it. It’s thinking that has got you into this mess, and more unhelpful thinking is simply not the answer. Unfortunately, it can be hard to stop once you get yourself into the spiral of overthinking. Your thoughts can get ahead of you, racing around like runaway trains on the tracks in your head, blocking you from your own mind and distracting you from what really matters.

If you want to take your life back, start feeling better, and live more peacefully, you need to take control and put an end to your overthinking. In this practical and easy-to-use audiobook, you will discover:

  • The best way to calm an overactive mind to keep it from overwhelming you
  • How your thoughts create your feelings and decide your reality
  • How to make decisions without getting bogged down by analysis paralysis and procrastination
  • How to identify what triggers your overthinking so you can catch yourself before it takes over
  • How you can stop your overthinking tendencies by replacing them with healthier habits
  • Insightful reflection questions to help you understand yourself and what’s going on inside you
  • Action steps, exercises, and simple techniques to reduce anxiety, work on your thoughts, and feel better quickly
  • And much more.

A highly accessible written format. Easy and relatable with personal family examples. A real “gotcha” for me was to stop overthinking and sometimes choosing to not care. The latter sounds potentially harsh, yet so balanced in the way the author discusses this strategy. Explained well and would be a beneficial book to whomever reads it!

Think enough but not too much stood out to me & also asking myself if my thoughts are helping me or hindering me!

I liked how positive it made me feel!
